The hotel is in a great location and the staff are really helpful. Breakfast was nice and we loved the Micky Mouse waffles. However, the rooms and bathrooms have a feel of needing updating and the beds creaked every time we moved. I would stay here again but only because the Marvel and Bay Hotel are out of price range.

Having stayed in this hotel multiple times in the early 2000s, it was a nostalgic return. It was easy to find it nostalgic, however, because it hasn’t changed since it was built in 1992. It really is like stepping into a time machine and going back to the late 90s/early 00s. The rooms are in serious need of refurbishment. The bathroom doors have huge dents in them, the toilets are stained, the shower curtain discoloured and nothing in the room feels clean. There was a big clump of someone else’s hair on the bathroom tiles when we first entered our room. After calling reception and requesting that the room be cleaned again, we returned in the evening to find the same clump of hair. The cleaning staff are very inattentive. But I don’t blame them - it would be hard to feel any pride when working in these rooms in their current state. The hallway carpets are tattered and clearly stained in the centre for the entire length of each hallway. Even the furnishings are in pieces. Hot water sometimes doesn’t work, especially in the early morning. I’d recommend staying in a refurbished hotel over this one.

The worst hotel that I have ever been with extremely rude personnel and procedures. They do not have fridges in the room and that was an impediment to the medicine that we had to keep in the fridge for medical purposes. We had to keep them at the concierge and move from another floor where our room was late at night to the reception desk . Most of the staff did not speak English especially the security guards that is of the most importance. I do not recommend this hotel at all!

Perfect stay. Great staff. This place is very cosy. We have two kids under 5 and it was ideal, with two super king beds and big enough bathroom space with a bath. We walked to the village and parks easily even in the sleet. The staff were fantastic all round from check in to check out. Notably, the concierges, Lukas and Thomas who came to our rescue when our car battery was flat. Couldn't have been more helpful. We will 💯 stay again.

Hotel rooms were dated but comfortable. I like how they encouraged the guests to be environmental conscious with regards to energy and water consumption. The pool/gym is actually located outside of the lodge itself. We went the first week of November and it was cold outside. It made swimming in the pool a little annoying since my kids were wet and having to walk outside to enter the lodge again. They do offer hair dryers but usually had to wait on a line to use it. My kids enjoyed the pool nonetheless. Shuttle buses run slow, like every 25-30 minutes. We opted to walk to the parks which took us 18 minutes (that was 18 min fast walk) from hotel door to entrance of the parks. After spending the entire day walking between two parks and having to walk back to the hotel was absolutely dreadful. Make sure to wear comfortable sneakers! The hotel restaurants had delicious food, especially their buffet.
